A wild & wooly Inn-to-Inn Event, held together by maple syrup & wacky fun, for Prizes Galore!

Mt Washington Valley, NH - The Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mount Washington Valley (BBIMWV) will host their fifth annual March Maple Madness Tour on Saturday and Sunday, March 29th and 30th in conjunction with the annual New Hampshire Maple Producers weekend. Tickets are $15 per person and are available by advanced reservation or at the door from the participating Inns. Tickets are valid for both days of the event from 11am to 4 pm.

The proceeds from the event benefit the Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mount Washington Valley Hospitality Scholarship Fund. BBIMWV, a local non-profit organization of innkeepers, provides an annual scholarship for a worthy student from either Kennett High School or Fryeburg Academy furthering their education in the hospitality field. The BBIMWV association has partnered nationally with Dollars for Scholars who will match the scholarship dollar for dollar if the student attends a participating advanced educational institution.

This weekend is created for visitors and local residents alike. Embarking on a self-guided inn-to-inn tour, ticket holders will sample tasty delights both savory and sweet. Their recipes can be found in a keepsake booklet included in the ticket price. Ticket holders can also choose to take the challenge of “A Hare Raising Quiz” and “The Maddening Scavenger Hunt”, competing for hundreds of dollars in prizes. Along the way there will be opportunities to visit several “Sugaring” locations to experience the maple syrup process first hand, as well as, ‘Maple Country Partners’ happy to share clues and information.

The ticket holder who, in the opinion of the panel of official judges of dubious distinction, best accomplishes every dictate, and so scores the most points, will win the grand prize. Valued at over $400, the Grand prize package includes a $200 certificate good toward a two-night stay at any participating member of Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mount Washington Valley. Both the Grand prize and the runner-up will receive: a dinner certificate for The Notchland Inn, a horse or carriage ride for two at The Farm By the River and a March Maple Madness basket filled with gifts contributed by the Inns and Maple Country Partners, including some deliciously fun Maple surprises.

Inns participating include: Buttonwood Inn, Cabernet Inn, Covered Bridge House, The Cranmore Inn, The Farm by the River, Mt. Washington B&B, The Notchland Inn, and Spruce Moose Lodge. Visitors staying at any of these locations the weekend of March 29th and 30th will receive March Maple Madness tickets as part of their stay package, along with breakfast each morning and additional enticements ranging from maple candy to a maple-themed 5 course dinner. The Maple Country Partners participating will include Josiah Bartlett School Sugar House, Ravenwood Curio Shoppe and White Mountain Cider Company Restaurant.
