Time to shake off those winter doldrums and join The Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mount Washington Valley as they host their annual March Maple Madness Tour on Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 from 10:30-AM -5 PM. Tickets are included as part of every MMM stay and tour package or are available for $20 per person purchased in advance from any of the participating inns. Ticket sales end on March 15th.
Embarking on a self-guided inn-to-inn tour, ticket holders will sample tasty delights both savory and sweet. Those recipes can be found in a keepsake booklet included in the ticket price. Ticket holders can participate in “The Maddening Scavenger Hunt”. Traveling through the White Mountains there will be opportunities to visit several “Sugaring” locations to experience the maple syrup process first hand, uncover clues, gather objects for the Scavenger Hunt all in an effort to complete the Maple Madness March. The ticket holder who, in the opinion of the panel of judges of dubious distinction, best accomplishes every dictate, and so scores the most points, will win the grand prize.

The ticket holders will also be asked to cast their votes for Best Maple treat and Best Seasonal Inn Decorations. An added prize of two tickets to a future event can be won by identifying the mystery photo in the keepsake booklet.

The Maple Producers on the tour: Dindor/Ritger Residence, Josiah Bartlett School Sugar House, Notchland Sugarbush, Thorn Mountain Maple Sweets and Maple Sugar House in the 100 Acre Wood.
This seasonal tour is the Early Spring twin of the Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mt Washington Valley Autumn event, Ghost and Goblin Trail , an inn-to-inn trek for treats. This is an opportunity for costumes, tricks, treats and solving riddles for terrific prizes.
